YUM! I love 'elements' of shepherds pie... Your version sounds So delicious!! I think it might make it on the menu ... tomorrow ... if I don't feel too icky after the dentist! I have hours to recover! yum!

I also love lentils ~ I cook lentils with curry ... if you like curry... yum!! I even shred chicken into it sometimes! tasty!

The soup sounds absolutely delicious...I must make some while there's still a bit of chill in the air...though I'll eat soup pretty much year round. My husband would probably like the chicken shepard's pie...he loves a bunch of stuff/casserole mixed together.

Yum, yum, yum, thanks for sharing your shepherd's pie recipe! It's a little different from ours, so I might have to try (ok, ok, have DH try-- he's the cook!) this variation!
