Thanks for visiting my blog! The neat thing about the bluebird shot is that the black lines in between the feathers are actually shadows from the feathers. It is a cool trick of light, that I read about - but didn't get to see until I was able to look up close in the photograph!

I give you so much credit for homeschooling your children! As much as I would love to do this for my daughters, I know that I, personally, just don't have the discipline. Great job momma!

Best of luck to you in the coming year! I have a hard enough time with my little ones. I can only imagine the pressure for junior high and high school. Fortunately my older sister has gone before me and her oldest just graduated high school homeschooling so I have a wonderful sounding board :D

Hubby and I have thrown around the idea of homeschooling. The levy for our district failed this past year so they are cutting back on a lot of classes and there is no transportation for the high school kids.
