I thought the homeschool program was great, and if I ever become an adoptive parent, I will consider homeschooling. Have fun with your 7th grader! I feel more in tune with him and his personality due to that time. I think it is great that the two older kids are stepping out of the nest and will be socializing on an academic level with new kids. That is such an important part of their growth. I think it would be somewhat of a shock to go from homeschooling straight to college. Your younger one, even though he may be lonely this might be his time to really blossom and find his own way. &lt;br /&gt;I know this was true for  my younger son when his brother left for the RTC. He was able to become his own person without the pressures of his older brothers activities.
