Random Ramblings

First, the leek and potato soup I made last week was really tasty. I will be making another batch soon to have for lunches. Thanks to those that warned me how gritty the leeks could be and to wash them thoroughly. The recipe called for 4 leeks and a large onion. Next time, I will half the onion or leave it out altogether.

Second, yes, I eat all those meals I post with the exception of bean and cheese burritos. They are usually Weight Watcher recipes which makes them a lighter version than the normal versions.

Third, we are all decorated for Christmas here :) I will post some pictures later this week.

Fourth, Sarah at The Stroller Ballet awarded me with The Lovely Blog Award.

Fifth, it rained all day yesterday and I loved it. We don't get much rain here in sunny So. Cal., so when it happens I like to sit back and enjoy the tap, tap, tapping on the windows. I had the Christmas tree lights on and a cup of hot tea and just gazed out the window soaking it all up.

Sixth, why am I numbering these? There really is no point.

A.) I have only bought one Christmas gift so far. Do you think I should focus a little more on that?

iii) Do to A above, there are no presents under my tree right now. Not even the one mentioned in A because I haven't wrapped it.

32.) My favorite Christmas carol is this one with Bing and Bowie - LOVE IT!
