Monday Menu Mania

Hi! So sorry I haven't posted in a week. I've been busy, but so are you and you're still posting. Oh well, I think I will do better this week - fingers crossed.

I weighed in and lost 0.8 pounds. That brings my total to 40.2 pounds!

Onto the star of the show: this week's menu.

Saturday: Hamburgers & turkey burgers with broccoli

Sunday: Braised Red Snapper with orzo and tomatoes and steamed zucchini on the side

Monday: Moo-shu chicken with rice

Tuesday: Spaghetti with a veggie on the side

Wednesday: Chicken escarole saute

Thursday: Lasagna and salad

Friday: It's Christmas!!! We host a brunch at the house in the morning (I'll blog more about that later in the week). Then for dinner I'm making a ham, scalloped potatoes, and green beans

While the above is what I planned, it had to be shifted around and I don't like that the spaghetti and lasagna are so close together or that the two chicken meals are so close, but I'm going with it. I have plenty of things to worry about besides the menu this week. I hope you are all doing fabulously and that your holiday preparations are going well.

Weight Watcher's New Complete Cookbook. This week three of the recipes are directly from that. Which is on the low end for me, it is usually 5 or more.

Wow! Great job with your weight loss - that's soooo amazing :) I love that you plan your menu out like that -- sounds like a yummy week...I'm in trouble this week, for sure though LOL

Congrats again on your weight loss. Amazing! What do you eat for breakfast/lunch? Do you plan those meals too? They are the ones I struggle with the most...especially breakfast!
