Just In Case You Don't Hear From Me For A While...

As I mentioned in an earlier post, dh's Christmas present is U-Verse which is a fiber-optic high speed internet connection. For some you may shrug your shoulders and think, "so." But, for this house it will be a super thing. Our current connection is soooooo slow and it is supposedly dsl, plus it drops connections repeatedly throughout the day.

Anyways, we are starting the process of switching over and the new isp one won't even schedule our installation until the old isp is terminated. So, there is the possibility that I could be without internet for several days if not longer. If it is too long, I may bring my laptop to Starbucks and hook-up though their wi-fi.

Please know I will miss visiting your blogs during the time I am away and I will catch-up as soon as I can. I'm not sure when I will go down, so there is the possibility there are still a few more posts left in me.

UPDATE: The latest is that we will lose our current internet connection on 12/24. Once we confirm that we are down, we can call the provider and schedule installation - hoping for 12/26 or 12/27 if possible. So, you are all stuck with me for a few more days :)
